The night sky of the municipality of Àger, observed from the Parc Astronòmic del Montsec, has been recognized internationally as one of the best skies for astronomical observation.

Being a basic pillar of astronomy research, training and dissemination in the Catalan territory, the Parc Astronòmic is organizing a new edition of the Montsec Astronomy Festival, bringing this science closer to young and old.

Below we explain everything you need to know to live this unforgettable experience under the best sky in Catalonia!

From Wednesday 11 to Sunday 15 October, the Parc Astronòmic del Montsec becomes the epicenter of astronomy, offering a unique opportunity to connect with all the secrets the universe hides.

We are talking about special tours, both day and night, that will transport you next to stars, planets and galaxies like never before! The visits are guided, which is why you will be accompanied by experts who will guide you on this trip.

You will also enjoy audiovisual shows, stimulating your senses and your curiosity to the maximum. In addition, you will find educational activities designed for a more familiar audience where boys and girls will participate in workshops to learn and be nourished about everything there is to know. And that's not all! This October you will also experience live concerts where music and astronomy will merge into a single harmony.

You can't miss the closing we have prepared for the festival either! On Sunday, October 15, come to the "Els Planetes" concert. It's completely free and will be the perfect way to end this astronomical experience.
