Next Saturday, August 3rd, we will do the first of two geological trips to the Capçaleres del Ter and Freser Natural Park this summer, in this case to the Fontnegra and Pedrisses area, in the Núria valley.

The Coma del Clot-Fontnegra and the sun of Pedrisses present a diversity of elements of geological interest that will allow us to understand the relationship that these tributary valleys had with the main valley of the Núria river gorges, during the last glacial period.

The meeting point for the activity will be at the Rack Railway platform, in Vall de Núria (8:35 a.m. in Ribes-Enllaç and 8:41 a.m. in Ribes-Vila). The duration of the activity will be 4 hours and will be in charge of the guide Miquel Casas. The itinerary will be through high mountain trails, of moderate difficulty. It is recommended to bring comfortable clothes, hiking shoes and water.
