The resort's most emblematic open event, with a dynamic and spectacular format, will take place this Saturday, March 29.
The sporting event will be held on the Boardercross track, in the Vaques area.
The Boí Taüll resort is preparing to host one of the most anticipated competitions of the season: the 7th edition of the Ziga Zaga Boardercross. Next Saturday, March 29, ski and snowboard fans will have the opportunity to enjoy a day full of action and adrenaline in this open event that has already become a classic of the Alta Ribagorça resort. The event will take place on the Boardercross track, located in the Vaques area.
The Ziga Zaga Boardercross, organized by the Boí Taüll resort, stands out for its dynamic and exciting format. In addition, it has a very original and diverse circuit, in which all the curves are banked. At the same time, it has a straight with a series of dubbies (small snow hills that create an irregular terrain) where participants must absorb the irregularities of the terrain and push to achieve the maximum possible speed without losing stability. There are also two jumps, one before the dubbies straight and another before the finish line.
Participants will compete in races of three, separated by skiing and snowboarding, where only the first place finisher in each race will advance to the grand final. The top three will fight for the podium in a final descent that promises to be spectacular.
This competition, for ages 14 and up, is a unique opportunity to see some of the best athletes on the current scene in action, as well as to enjoy a festive atmosphere and camaraderie in Boí Taüll.
