The Ripollès resort, owned by Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC), offers optimal conditions for mountain enthusiasts. With four open slopes and snow depths ranging from 20 to 30 cm, skiers will be able to enjoy the snow in an idyllic setting. To facilitate access to the slopes, five ski lifts will be in operation. If conditions permit, the resort will expand its skiable area in the coming days. In fact, forecasts indicate that a cold front will arrive for the weekend of December 20.
During the Christmas holidays, Vallter will offer a wide range of services to make the experience complete. In the gastronomic area, the following catering points will be operational: the Braseria Les Marmotes, the cafeteria-restaurant La Portella and the Foodtruck. As for services, the equipment rental, the sports shop, the ski schools, the lockers and the coworking space will be in operation.
Tradition, fun and nature in Vallter
This Christmas, Vallter is transformed into a magical destination for the whole family, with a program of activities that combines tradition, fun and the beauty of the Catalan Pyrenees. The little ones will be the protagonists of the Club Fajol, where they can enjoy creative workshops and games that will fill their holidays with creativity and smiles. The celebrations will continue with the traditional Christmas Tió Party on December 24, ideal for experiencing the essence of Christmas with the family, and a lively New Year's Eve Party on the 31st, where the bells will be celebrated at 12:00 noon with grapes, confetti and music.
Families will also have their space on the toboggan run, specially equipped so that young and old can enjoy a fun and safe day. This exclusive downhill area is designed to offer thrills within everyone's reach, with a controlled environment that guarantees maximum safety while sliding through the snow. An ideal plan to share unique moments with the family and make the most of the resort's snow.
One of the most special experiences will be the ride in a snowmobile, which will take visitors to the highest point of the resort, at over 2,500 meters, while they will enjoy spectacular views at sunset. The day will culminate with a delicious hot chocolate and coca, creating an unforgettable memory. This activity will take place once the slopes close in the afternoon, to watch the sunset from Les Marmotes.
The magic of the festivities will continue on Saturday, January 4th with a children's workshop to create personalized Three Kings lanterns to light the way for the Three Kings. An activity full of light and excitement.
