The Espot Ski resort, managed by Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC), is ready to start the new winter season.
This year, FGC reaffirms its commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency, introducing several improvements that aim to make the stations more and more environmentally friendly.
At the same time, FGC TURISME continues to expand and diversify its offer with the Pirineu365 Club, which offers unique experiences tailored to enjoy the Catalan Pyrenees to the fullest.
The Espot Esquí resort is excited to share the news that will mark the next winter season. The most prominent are the following:
- Conditioning of the service area at elevation 1500
Commissioning of the inclusive changer module.
Covering the pre-existing facades of the WC modules with a wooden finish.
Improvement of accessibility in the area
- Improvements to the Leisure Park
Installation of a low snow cannon in the Lúdic Park area, to guarantee snow on the toboggan run for beginners throughout the season.
- New games for the outdoor play area.
- Installation of a perimeter fence to delimit the area and guarantee its safety.
- Renovation of the public service area.
- Installation of a module to store the material.
- Profile of the arrival area of the tubbing and toboggan run.
- Improvement in accessibility to Cinta II.
- New panoramic viewpoint at Creu de l'Eixol (2240m), access with snowshoes or cross-country skis.
- Entry into operation of the recharging points for hybrid and electric vehicles in the Estanyets car park, elevation 1500.
- New interactive 2D map.
- Facilities and tracks maintenance:
Renewal and repair of windbreaks.
Profiled + hydroseeding at the beginning of Track Four.
Maintenance and painting work in the 2000 level service area.
New compressor for better snowmaking efficiency and change of compressor room roof cover.
