From January 2nd to 5th, at the INEFC Barcelona, FGC Turisme will showcase the range of snow and sports activities in La Molina, Vallter, Vall de Núria, Espot Esquí, Port Ainé and Boí Taüll, which are already in full swing these days.
People who visit the FGC stand will be able to live immersive experiences for all audiences: immerse themselves in the descent of a ski slope or a bike park at full speed with virtual reality goggles and try out the ski simulators.
Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC) will be present for the first time at the Totesport 360 exhibition, the sports leisure space promoted by the Department of Sports and which will be held from 2 to 5 January at the National Institute of Physical Education in Barcelona (INEFC). For four days, FGC Turisme will present the range of snow and sports activities offered by its six mountain resorts: La Molina, Vallter, Vall de Núria, Espot, Port Ainé and Boí Taüll, which are already in full swing these days. With its presence at the exhibition, Ferrocarrils reaffirms its commitment to disseminating activities that promote healthy lifestyles and bring winter sports closer to everyone.
Visitors to the FGC stand, in addition to receiving information about all the activities offered by the six resorts, will be able to experience the thrill of snowless skiing with different immersive experiences for all audiences. On the one hand, the 360º Virtual Reality ski will allow you to immerse yourself in a descent with virtual reality glasses, feeling the speed and adrenaline of skiing down an Espot slope with a great deal of authenticity and experience. With the same glasses, you can also try the 360º Virtual Reality bike park, experiencing a descent at the La Molina resort like a professional biker, passing through interesting places through the characteristic black pine forests of the area. And with the 360º Ski Simulator, you can test your skills in a ski simulator, where you can experience the sensation of sliding through the snow in an immersive and fun way, both adults and children.
The times to carry out all these activities are: from 2 to 4 January, from 10 am to 8 pm, and on 5 January, from 10 am to 2 pm (INEFC Barcelona, Av. de l’Estadi, 12-22). Admission is free with prior reservation on the Totesport 360 website.
More than 30 sports disciplines confirmed
Totesport 360, the free sports leisure space of reference during the Christmas holidays, already has around thirty sports disciplines confirmed and the presence of around 60 clubs and federations from all over Catalonia. The aim is to consolidate and grow the 10,000 people who came to the Montjuïc Olympic Ring last Christmas and enjoyed playing sports. The aim of the fair is to promote sports among children and young people, the adult public and show the potential of teams and entities from Catalonia.
This third edition of Totesport 360 continues to grow and this year also seeks the active participation of the adult public to accompany children and young people with new targeted activities and promotions. The sports leisure space for women's and men's sports in Catalonia will reflect the country's sporting diversity, help to continue generating new leading figures and promote physical exercise and good habits.
The Department of Sports of the Generalitat de Catalunya is leading this free leisure proposal that also introduces the wide variety of sports disciplines that can currently be practiced.
