The six ski and mountain resorts managed by Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC) are joining the Carnival celebration with a wide range of activities for the whole family. Make-up workshops, hot chocolates to replenish strength, music to accompany the party and the traditional costume contest with prizes will bring joy to La Molina, Vall de Núria, Vallter, Espot Esquí, Port Ainé and Boí Taüll.

In the Pallars Sobirà region, the two FGC resorts will organize the Great Carnival: in Port Ainé, Saturday 1 March, and in Espot Esquí, Sunday 2 March. From 12 pm, both tourist facilities will have a costume parade. Visitors will be able to immortalize this fun moment at the resort's photocall. Everyone who comes fully dressed up will be able to participate and win prizes, such as ski equipment, ski passes and/or tickets to the Parc Lúdic, which will be raffled off at 1:30 p.m. on the terrace. The Desafinats band will be in charge of livening up the descent with their festive music, adding a touch of color and debauchery to the celebration. From 1 p.m., a tasting of the traditional Carnival cauldron will be organized on the terrace of the 2000 elevation. The celebration will continue in the afternoon with more music from 2:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. In addition, for the little ones, a carnival makeup workshop will be held at 12:00 p.m. on the terrace of Port Ainé.

In Cerdanya, La Molina invites young and old to a day full of entertainment and surprises on Saturday, March 1. The activities will take place from 11 am to 1:15 pm in the Cap de Comella Inferior area, with a photocall, a make-up workshop and a mask workshop. In addition, the most daring will be able to participate in the costume contest, with prizes for individual and group categories. The gift giving will take place in Cap de Comella. Afterwards, the party will continue in La Placeta, at the Après-Ski party.

In Ripollès, the Carnival activities will last throughout the weekend in Vall de Núria. On Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 March, fun will be guaranteed with activities for all ages. The little ones will be able to explore their most creative side with the make-up workshop, which will take place next to the Leisure Park, where they will become their favourite characters. And for the whole family, a hot chocolate will be organised in the mid-morning, while enjoying the festive atmosphere. In addition, on Saturday, the range of activities will be expanded, with the opening of the Parc Lúdic de La Cabana, a ride with a retrac machine and a DJ session on the terrace of La Cabana.

Still in Ripollès, Vallter celebrates Carnival with various proposals for all audiences. On Saturday, March 1, children will be able to participate in a mask workshop organized by Club Fajol, where they will be able to bring out all the creativity they have inside. A unique opportunity for the little ones to let their imagination run wild and make their own carnival mask and their creations. And, on March 8, visitors will be able to enjoy the great Carnival party, which will fill Vallter with costumes, music and entertainment. During this day there will also be games and activities for the whole family and a spectacular lucky roulette, where everyone will win a prize.

On Saturday, March 1, Boí Taüll, in Alta Ribagorça, celebrates Carnival with an original and fun costume contest. People who want to participate must immortalize their costume on the 360 ​​photocall installed at the station. The resulting video must be published on Instagram, mentioning the Boí Taüll account boitaull_. Three prizes will be drawn among all participants: 1st prize: 2 two-day ski passes; 2nd prize: 2 one-day ski passes and 3rd prize: 2 one-day ski passes.
