Easter is presented with all the ski areas open and with a wide program of popular events.

Thanks to the snowfall in the first weeks of March and the constant work of the exploitation teams, the FGC Turisme resorts will extend the winter season until April 7, provided that the weather and snow conditions of the ski areas allow it. La Molina, Vallter, Espot Esquí, Port Ainé and Boí Taüll, which initially planned to close on Monday, April 1, will open uninterruptedly for one more week. Vall de Núria will keep the ski area open until the 31st, but the tourist facility is open 365 days a year and will maintain the usual transportation, restaurant and accommodation services operational.

With almost 80% of the slopes in operation and with snow depths of up to 240 cm at high altitudes, Boí Taüll is the most favored FGC Turisme resort, a paradise for winter sports fans. That is why it also plans to open the lifts again on the weekend of April 13 and 14 after stopping activity during the week of April 8 to 12. Users who have season passes from the other FGC resorts will be able to ski for free in Boí Taüll during the weekend of April 13 and 14.

Remember that the Vall de Boí resort has a wide and complete range of mountain skiing itineraries at a time that is ideal for practicing this sport.

The Pallares resorts of Espot Esquí and Port Ainé also plan to open almost 100% of their ski area during the days of Holy Week. The slopes of both stations, with snow depths of up to 160 cm, will be the ideal setting to enjoy snow sports complemented by a diverse program of events for all audiences. Espot Esquí will organize the long-awaited Espot Tamarro Race on Saturday, March 30, a fun popular race, free and suitable for all levels, in which participants will have to overcome obstacles as if they were real professional skiers. On the other hand, Port Ainé will have the popular Gall Fer race, a free race open to everyone that will pass through a blue and a green track. At the finish line there will be chocolate for all participants.

La Molina has everything ready for the arrival of Holy Week. With snow depths of up to 70 cm at high altitudes, throughout these days, visitors will be able to ski, snowboard and other mountain activities, but also enjoy the wide range of events that will take place. Among the various proposals, the following stand out: the last Après Ski Alabau by Estrella Damm of the winter season, which will coincide with the Flaix FM party and will take place on Saturday, March 23; the already traditional Easter Egg Gymkhana on the 29th, in which participants will have to find the eggs that are hidden around the station; or a morning DJ session with Oriol Moner (Saturday 30). Regarding sports, La Molina will be the venue for the 12th ACELL Championship of Catalonia for people with intellectual disabilities (Saturday the 23rd), the open Torrent Challenge - ALCE race (Friday the 29th) and the TriSnow La Molina triathlon (Sunday the 31st). , which will put an end to the winter season and will welcome mountain activities, such as MTB or trail running.

Vallter faces the end of the season with a snow thickness of up to 60 cm and will remain open every day, offering its usual variety of high mountain activities beyond skiing and snowboarding. The days of Holy Week will have different proposals, among which stand out: a dream catcher workshop, the children's entertainment of “L'Esquirol Fajol returns to his burrow”, in which the little ones will say goodbye to the station mascot until the next season and the closing party the Levantada, with a very varied program, with ski master classes, snowshoe excursions, games, contests and music.

For its part, Vall de Núria, with snow depths of up to 70 cm at high levels, will keep the ski area operational until Sunday, March 31. The Rack Railway and the station's tourist services do not stop and will be fully operational beyond that date. The most notable proposals are the Cable Car, the Leisure Park, the exhibition spaces and the hiking routes around the Sanctuary and in the heart of the Cabeceras del Ter and Freser Natural Park. However, the Núria Rack Railway, the only means of accessing the mountain station, runs daily and uninterrupted throughout the year. Looking ahead to the days of Holy Week, the Ripollès station presents a complete agenda of events for all audiences, such as, for example, the snowshoe outing under the full moon on Saturday, March 30, in which participants will discover the Pyrenees in a very different way. As for the proposals designed for boys and girls, the highlights include the free chocolate that will be organized on Saturdays the 23rd and 30th next to the station's Leisure Park, the guided excursion on a snow groomer, complemented with children's activities, music and gastronomic tasting, or the Eggs for Easter Gymkhana, in which they will have the mission of searching for the eggs hidden around the Sanctuary with the help of a map.

Regarding the opening hours of the stations, La Molina will be open to the public from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. every day, except on April 1, Easter Monday, when the hours will be until noon, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. On the other hand, the hours of Boí Taüll, Espot, Port Ainé and Vallter will be every day from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. As for Vall de Núria, it will be open as usual and it is necessary to check the rack railway hours, which vary depending on the day.
