This December long weekend you can also take a ride on the Cadí-Moixeró Gondola, which gives access to the highest point of the resort.

The Girona resort has everything ready to open the ski area in the coming days, with the forecast of the arrival of a drop in temperatures accompanied by snow.

La Molina kicks off the winter season tomorrow, Friday, December 6, with a wide range of tourist activities. Visitors to the Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC) ski and mountain resort will be able to access the Cadí-Moixeró Gondola to enjoy spectacular views of the valley, as it reaches the highest point of the resort: the Niu de l'Àliga refuge and the La Tosa peak, 2,537 m above sea level.

One of the main novelties is the opening, starting tomorrow, of the first Christmas Camp, which consists of a forest full of magic and a village of elves. It is an unforgettable adventure to do with the family, where you can meet Santa Claus and his helpers in his refuge, where the excitement of Christmas will come to life.

Throughout the bridge, visitors will be able to practice sports with proposals as varied as paddle tennis or Disc Golf. The most adventurous will also have their space at the degana de l'Estat resort, with the Adventure Park, zip lines and segways. On the other hand, children will have a wide range to choose from: tubing, a play area, a net and inflatable park, and in the Lake area, children's games and a sports circuit.

At the same time, the Adapted Sports Center will also be open, offering activities fully adapted and accessible to people with disabilities.

As for gastronomy, the Alabau Grill and the renovated units of the El Bosc restaurant and the Niu de l'Àliga refuge will be in operation.

Finally, it should be noted that on Saturday 7 December, the presentation of the book "100 Years of La Molina" will take place at the Niu de l'Àliga, which collects the history of the Girona resort during this century of history.

The forecasts for the end of the long weekend and next week are optimistic, with a clear drop in temperatures and precipitation in the form of snow. With this forecast, La Molina has everything ready to open the ski area in the coming days. The information will be updated on the resort's social networks and website.
