The mountain cooking days, which will be held on April 7th and 8th, are part of the events of Catalunya Regió Mundial de la Gastronomia.

They will feature Culinary Collectives and representatives from the Pyrenean regions, and a showcooking by Joan Roca.

The ski and mountain resort of La Molina, managed by Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC), will host the 10th edition of GastroPirineus on April 7 and 8, thus reaffirming its role as a benchmark for gastronomic and sports tourism in Cerdanya. These mountain cuisine conferences, which this year are part of the designation of Catalunya com a Regió Mundial de la Gastronomia, will serve to highlight the culinary richness of the Pyrenees, with the participation of renowned chefs and gastronomic groups. The president of Ferrocarrils, Carles Ruiz Novella, will close the conference on Tuesday at 11:45 a.m.

The GastroPirineus 2025 program will feature chefs from Culinary Groups and representatives of the Pyrenean regions, who will show off their talent and their commitment to local produce. In addition, this year La Molina will be dressed in full dress to receive a master class by the prestigious chef Joan Roca, from Celler de Can Roca***, who will close two days of intense culinary activity.

La Molina, a privileged setting for gastronomy and nature

With 71 km of slopes and a long history of hosting high-level sporting events, La Molina is also consolidating itself as a meeting point for gastronomy. Its location in Cerdanya, surrounded by a unique natural environment and with a quality tourist offer, makes it the ideal setting for this event, which has also been held in other Ferrocarrils mountain resorts.

Through GastroPirineus, La Molina not only claims its commitment to sport and nature, but also to mountain gastronomy, promoting sustainability and the promotion of local products. In fact, one of the end-of-season packages is GastroLaMolina, to enjoy skiing and mountain cuisine. An ideal proposition for lovers of snow and good food in a unique setting.

Highlighting the cuisine of the Pyrenees

Since its birth in 2016 by GastroEvents, GastroPirineus has established itself as a leading traveling event that highlights the traditional cuisine of the Pyrenees. The first edition was held in La Seu d’Urgell, and since then it has toured different parts of the territory, always with the aim of bringing mountain gastronomic culture to the general public. The resorts of Vall de Núria, Port Ainé and Vallter have also hosted GastroPirineus in previous editions.

This 2025, La Molina becomes the epicenter of this tribute to Pyrenean cuisine, offering attendees a unique experience that combines the best of gastronomy with an unbeatable setting.
