The facility, located at 1,667 metres, was inaugurated on Saturday 27 July. To celebrate, La Molina is organising an open weekend where people who reserve a court will have free access to the resort's swimming pool.
With this new activity, FGC is once again demonstrating its commitment to diversifying the range of activities offered by its tourist facilities throughout the year.
La Molina mountain resort is opening one of the highest altitude paddle tennis courts in Europe. From Saturday 27 July, visitors will be able to enjoy the spectacular Catalan Pyrenees while practising sport on the new paddle tennis court, at an altitude of 1,667 metres. These new facilities are located next to the swimming pool and the lower station of the Cadí-Moixeró cable car.
The track, which has lighting, will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Reservations can be made through this link.
Open weekend
On the occasion of its inauguration, an open weekend has been organized. People who book a rink on Saturday 27 or Sunday 28 July will have free access to the La Molina pool. On both days, there will be a special schedule from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
At the same time, on Saturday, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m., a very special vermouth will be offered with a live performance by Llucià Ferrer from Ràdio Flaix Bac.

With this new activity, Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya demonstrates its clear desire to diversify the range of activities offered by all its tourist facilities and to deseasonalise its offer, with the aim of attracting visitors throughout the year and better distributing the influx of visitors. In this sense, FGC Turisme is committed to a wide range of high mountain proposals aimed at everyone, regardless of their age or condition, developing new products and services.
Another of the main aims of Ferrocarrils is to promote and encourage outdoor physical activity and the practice of sport in its resorts, both in winter and summer. La Molina becomes the ideal setting in the Pyrenees to enjoy the natural environment and the great variety of healthy activities that can be practiced.
