The Girona resort has 33 kilometers of skiable slopes and 10 ski lifts in operation.

The Alp2500 domain, which allows skiing at the La Molina and Masella resorts, is open and offers the skier public up to 75 kilometers of slopes.

The cold and snowfall of the last few days have allowed the winter aspect of the ski and mountain resort of La Molina, managed by Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC), to be restored. This good situation, combined with the constant work of the technical teams of the slopes, has allowed the number of skiable kilometres of the Girona resort to be expanded.

La Molina currently records snow depths of up to 60 cm at high altitudes. And all sectors of the resort are now open thanks to the expansion of the Alabau sector. With this new access, users will be able to slide down 32 slopes and cover up to 33 skiable kilometres. In addition, 10 ski lifts will be in operation to facilitate the mobility of visitors.

At the same time, the Snowpark and Funpark areas are open, as well as activities such as the Adventure Park in the Trees. In addition, the Adapted Sports Center (CEA), which offers activities that are fully adapted and accessible to people with disabilities, is operating at full capacity.

To end the day of skiing, the resort offers après-ski every Saturday at La Placeta, a space with local cuisine, drinks and live music. Located next to the Gondola, it is the perfect place to relax, have a drink and enjoy the atmosphere and good company.

As for gastronomy and to gain strength, all the resort's catering points will be open, such as the Alabau Braseria, the renovated units of the El Bosc restaurant and the Niu de l'Àliga refuge, the Telecabina Self-service, as well as the Costa Rasa Cafeteria.

Opening of the Alp2500 ski area

La Molina and Masella currently form one of the largest ski areas in the Pyrenees thanks to Alp2500. Since this past weekend, visitors have had access to up to 75 kilometers and 71 slopes, adding up the openings of both stations.

This area is connected by the Cadí-Moixeró Cable Car which covers, in just 20 minutes, the almost three kilometers that separate the Cable Car parking lot, from the 2,537-meter elevation, to La Tosa d'Alp.
