After a very busy Easter weather-wise, La Molina, Boí Taüll, Espot, Port Ainé and Vallter will remain open until Sunday, April 7.

The Ribagorça resort of Boí Taüll will also reopen on the weekend of April 13 and 14 and all users who have season passes from other resorts in the group will be able to ski there by presenting their pass.

Vall de Núria closed the ski season yesterday, March 31, but it continues with all its activities, both the Cremallera, which runs all year, as well as the Fun Park, exhibitions and hiking, among others.

From Saturday 23 March to Monday 1 April, La Molina, Vall de Núria, Vallter, Espot Esquí, Port Ainé and Boí Taüll have starred in an Easter week of skiing, snowboarding and mountain activities under perfect weather very changing and offering a wide range of sporting and recreational events.

The season most favored by snowfall has been Boí Taüll, which has seen continuous precipitation from March 26 to April 1, accumulating up to 125 cm and finishing this holiday with thicknesses on slopes of 120 cm at low levels and 260 cm at high levels. In fact, the technicians at the Alta Ribagorça station report that the amount of snowfall this winter 23-24 reaches a spectacular 415 cm.

In this context, those in charge of the Ribagorça resort have decided to reopen the weekend of April 13 and 14 and all users who have season passes from other resorts of the FGC Turisme group will be able to ski there by presenting the your subscription

This Easter it has rained practically every day in La Molina, with accumulated thicknesses of new snow of around 20 cm. The station has been in operation daily, despite the difficult weather, with the Central, Baixa and Torrent areas open with good snow conditions and the Cadí-Moixeró Gondola for tourist use. Four social races have been contested, the VIII Gimcana Ous per Pasqua, a DJ session on the Costa Rasa terrace and the VIII TriSnow which combines Running, MTB and Skimo.

Next weekend, April 6 and 7, the resort will have the entire Central area open, it is planned to celebrate the Catalan FIS Alpine Ski Championships, which are also the 1st. Memorial Lluís Breitfuss. The slalom and giant slalom events are scheduled to take place at the Solell and Els Plans stadiums, in the Torrent Negre area.

It should be noted that in a weather-complicated season like this, it was possible to carry out almost all of the events planned in La Molina and this Holy Week ended with a wintry stamp.

As for Pallars, the good influx of visitors and the very good hotel occupancy thanks to the fact that the resorts of Espot and Port Ainé were open and the draw, already in these spring times, of the Alt Pirineu Natural Park and the National Park of Aigüestortes and Estany de Sant Maurici. As an example, the Hotel Port Ainé 2000, at the foot of the slopes of the Rialp station, which has been 100% occupied all week.

The last snowfalls have ended up leaving up to a maximum of 60 cm in Port Ainé and 70 cm in Espot of accumulated snow. With these good conditions, the season will end on April 7, with plenty of snow and almost 100% of the ski areas open. This last weekend the popular Gall Fer race will take place in Port Ainé on Saturday 6th and the popular Tamarro Race on Sunday 7th in Espot.

After two seasons without skiing for Easter, this season Vallter has had very good snow conditions. The snowfall these days has left us with almost 40 cm and the accumulation of snow has allowed the Bac areas to open up and the Clot area to expand, offering winter conditions which has favored more than 90% of employment in Vall de Camprodon and Ripollès. The Camprodon Ski Club Social Race and the Vallter Race, children's workshops and the Spring Festival were held.

The good snow conditions currently enjoyed by the Ripollès station allow the season to be extended until next April 7. Different promotions are planned for this coming week, such as exclusive discounts for students, freelancers or all those who live or work in Ripollès or special offers at the restaurant and at the Foodtruck to enjoy local products. And for the last weekend of the season, on the 6th and 7th of April, there will be musical entertainment in the various areas of the station, as well as children's and family activities.

Vall de Núria ended its snow season on Sunday, March 31, although the Cremallera and the rest of the resort's tourist services do not stop and will be fully operational beyond that date. The most outstanding proposals of the mountain station, also located in El Ripollès, are the cable car, the Fun Park, the exhibition spaces and the hiking routes around the Sanctuary and in the middle of the Capçaleres del Ter and del Freser Natural Park. However, the Cremallera de Núria, the only way to access the mountain station, runs daily and uninterrupted throughout the year.

So, once again, the FGC Tourism resorts have contributed to generating visits, employment and dynamism in the mountain regions.
