The Restaurant El Racó de la Vall in the mountain station of Vall de Núria was the setting for a Beneficial Dinner on February 3rd, in a joint initiative between the Vall de Núria station, the Aula Hostaleria of Ripollès, and the Vall de Núria Hotel.
With the aim of advocating for various local entities and supporting the most vulnerable groups in Ripollès, this unique initiative highlights the importance of learning local cuisine and tools in the world of restoration as well as local products.
On Thursday, February 22nd, the donation delivery event to the Creu Roja was held, corresponding to the profits raised during the Beneficial Dinner held on February 3rd. With the presence of representatives from the Aula Hostaleria of Ripollès, the Abat Oliba Institute, and the Consell Comarcal, who have been key players in this solidarity initiative. Toni Casals Picola, director of the Vall de Núria mountain station, was also present at the event.
The event, which was jointly organized by the Vall de Núria Hotel and the Aula Hostaleria of Ripollès, with the valuable collaboration of various suppliers and entities in the area, including the Abat Oliba Institute, Gremi Hostaleria of Ripollès Producte del Ripollès, and Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya.
Thanks to the successful participation with 50 diners who enjoyed the beneficial dinner and with the participation of Aramark, a total of €1990.91 has been raised, which will be entirely allocated to contribute to the humanitarian actions of the Creu Roja.
Furthermore, mention was made of the upcoming edition of the beneficial dinner, which will incorporate the "Zero Line" modality, allowing those who could not attend the dinner but would like to collaborate to make a special financial contribution specifically for this solidarity purpose.
