Vall de Núria starts the autumn activities with a wide range of day and night activities

The mountain resort managed by FGC Turisme, open 365 days a year, offers a varied program of proposals for all audiences.


The Rack Railway will be operational every day in October and on weekends in November.

Vall de Núria, the emblematic mountain resort managed by FGC Turisme, begins its autumn activities with a wide range of proposals for all audiences with the aim that everyone can enjoy this high mountain destination open 365 days of the year The range of activities is daytime and nighttime and is aimed at both the family and the general public as well as more specialized ones.


The main scheduled activities are:

 

  • Series of screenings with Torelló Mountain film: The highest cinema in Catalonia can also be viewed at the station's Interpretation Center during the month of October. A total of four screenings are planned: Home Sweet Home, La Haute Route au fil des Glacier, Gran Canyon and Aligned. Between the sea and the sky.

  • Discovery of stars by the Parc Astronòmic del Montsec: The activity consists of a first part of recognition of the sky with the naked eye in which you will find the most important constellations and stars that can be observed on an autumn night. In the second part, an observation will be made of the most outstanding objects of the night through a telescope. Planets, stars and more distant objects can enter this visual astronomical menu. The duration of the event is 1 hour 30 minutes and the meeting point is at the Interpretation Centre.

  • Workshops: During the autumn, fun activities are proposed to take away a good memory of Vall de Núria. Visitors can take part in the "Make an autumn collage" workshop or the "Make a natural dream catcher" workshop.

  • XII AAL Spanish Championship (IFAA-Spain) - Bowhunter: This archery course in the forest will stop at Vall de Núria on October 26. Throughout the day, the archers will go through two different circuits around the station, in a natural environment that gives a lot of play for the shots, combining forest areas with river or meadow areas.

  • From October 18 to 20, la Brama race arrives, the little sister of the Pyrenees Stage Run. Based in Ribes de Freser, it is an intense adventure in the eastern Pyrenees for three days and three different distances.


Vall de Núria also offers other recreational activities:

  • Ride on the Coma del Clot cable car: From this cable car located at the same station, you can access the Alberg Pic de l’Àliga, located at 2,170 meters, and a viewpoint with panoramic views of the valley and the peaks.

  • Hiking routes in the Catalan Eastern Pyrenees: Vall de Núria is a privileged place to get to know, admire and tour the high Pyrenean mountains with peaks that almost reach 3,000 m. From the classic Camí Vell de Queralbs to Núria, to the Travessa dels Refugis del Torb, which runs through the Canigó massif.

  • Exhibitions: Currently, the following exhibitions can be visited at the Ripoll station: "90 years of history. Núria's rack", "Memories of Snow"; "The Valley of the 5 Elements", "Núria, the Ecovalley of the Pyrenees" and "The Mountains of the TMFF comic.

  • Minigolf, with holes with various levels of difficulty.

  • Boat or canoe ride on the Vall de Núria lake, one of the resort's most emblematic places.

  • Horse or pony routes: Another way to discover the landscapes of Vall de Núria is on a horse or pony. There are four itineraries adapted for all levels.

  • Orientation circuits: They are designed to discover Vall de Núria with the help of a detailed map, some clues and the instinct of the participants.

  • Free activities for people staying at the Hotel de Vall de Núria.


The Rack Railway, the only way to access the valley, will be operational every day in October. And for November, it will continue to be in circulation on weekends. With the ticket for this tourist transport, users have access to the Coma del Clot Cable Car, the exhibitions, the Núria basilica and the audio guides, both in Cremallera and Vall de Núria.


The mountain resort of Ripoll now offers a unique landscape in autumn, where the brightest yellows and reds mix and the snow begins to make an appearance, covering the mountain peaks.
