Vall de Núria becomes a magical refuge this Christmas, offering a unique Christmas experience in the heart of the Girona Pyrenees. With a program of activities that combines tradition, culture and fun, the resort invites families and friends to enjoy the Christmas spirit.

Vall de Núria, managed by Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC) and operating 365 days a year, will open a total of 4 kilometers of skiable slopes, which represents more than half of the area. With snow depths of between 20 and 40 cm, visitors will be able to slide down the 6 slopes that will be open: Finestrelles, Eina, Roc Malé, Les Creus, Soleia and Mulleres (by Mayol variant). In addition, all the ski lifts will be in full operation. At the same time, the snowshoe circuits of Pont de l'Escudé and Del Canal will be accessible. If conditions permit, the resort will expand its skiable area in the coming days.

All leisure activities open

For the Christmas holidays, all activities will be operational. The Leisure Park will be 100% open with a wide variety of activities for the whole family: sledding runs, tubbing, a high-altitude balance course, a climbing wall, a zip line... Children will also have the option of having a Christmas taste with the itineraries and games of "La Vall dels Tions", which are spread throughout the resort.

Visitors will also be able to enjoy a wide variety of exciting activities in the mountains. For snow lovers, a snowmobile trip is offered, where they can learn up close about their role in preparing the ski slopes. Those who prefer to enjoy the panoramic views can opt for a ride with the Coma del Clot Cable Car, up to the Pic de l'Àliga, at 2,170 meters high. For the more adventurous, snowshoeing is an ideal option, either independently on the free circuits of the resort or with experienced guides who will accompany them to discover the fauna and flora of the area.

In addition, all the necessary services for a complete experience will be in operation: catering, equipment rental, ski schools, medical service and shop. However, the Hotel de Vall de Núria and the Alberg de Núria will also be fully operational.

The celebration begins on December 24, where children can experience the Catalan tradition of Tió de Nadal, an activity full of surprises. On this day, Christmas music will also invade the resort with the Christmas Concert in the Saló de l'Estatut, an ideal space to enjoy traditional melodies in a warm and family atmosphere.

For New Year's Eve, the Ripollès resort offers a unique experience with the celebration of New Year's Eve in the restaurant of the Hotel Vall de Núria, with a special dinner and live music to say goodbye to 2024 in style. And, on January 5, the Three Kings arrive in Vall de Núria. The little ones will be able to meet Their Majesties and receive their gifts, thus closing the Christmas period with one of the most magical moments.
