The charity event, which will take place next Saturday, February 22, was created with the aim of raising funds for cancer patients and their families.
The event is organized by the Fundació Oncolliga Girona and will feature a wide range of recreational and sporting activities.
The Vallter resort, managed by Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC), will be the setting, once again, for the Oncoesquiada, a charity ski trip to raise funds to help people with cancer and their families. The event, organised by the Fundació Oncolliga Girona , will take place this Saturday, 22 February and this year is the twelfth edition.
Attendees will be able to take part in the traditional ski trip and will also have access to a wide range of leisure and sports activities designed for the occasion. During the day, after the charity breakfast, activities such as snowshoeing and introduction to mountain skiing or alpine skiing will be available. The activities will start at 10 am and will last until noon, when a charity lunch will be served. In the afternoon, a slalom race will take place for all those who have previously registered.
The Fundació Oncolliga Girona will provide a bus service from Girona to participants.

7:00 a.m.: Departure from Bar Núria (Pl. Poeta Marquina - Girona)
7:10 a.m.: Departure from Pavelló de Fontajau
9:00 a.m.: Arrival in Vallter
9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.: Breakfast
10:00 a.m.: Group meeting with the instructors in front of the Vallter cafeteria
10:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.: Free skiing or with Oncolliga volunteers
1:30 p.m.: Group photo in front of the Vallter offices
