The Ripollès resort has everything ready to open the ski area in the coming days, with the forecast of a drop in temperatures accompanied by snow.

The Vallter resort kicks off the winter season tomorrow, Friday, December 6, coinciding with the long weekend. From December 6 to 8, Vallter will offer recreational activities in the middle of nature to make the most of the high mountain experience. One of the most attractive proposals for these days is the ascent with the Ter Panoramic Chairlift, which allows you to contemplate a unique alpine landscape. With this lift, visitors will also be able to access the new Braseria Les Marmotes, renovated into a space designed to offer a unique experience in the heart of the Pyrenees. With a modern aesthetic that respects the natural environment, the improvement has equipped the building with sustainable technology and energy-efficient kitchen equipment.

Continuing in the gastronomic field, Vallter will delight young and old with a wide range of proposals, such as a KM0 tapas route through the GastroVallter spaces, where you can taste unique tapas at La Portella, the aforementioned Braseria Les Marmotes and the Foodtruck. At the same time, an al fresco vermouth will be organized at Barra de Valler, the new restaurant this season.

To recharge your batteries during the long weekend, the resort will have a wide variety of options, such as Braseria Les Marmotes, with grilled meat and spectacular views, the new Barra de Vallter for a vermouth, or the Cafeteria-Restaurant La Portella, perfect for pizzas and combination dishes. And the Foodtruck, located at the foot of the slopes, will also be open.

Children will have the option of participating in children's activities from 11am to 1pm, in the Club Fajol area: on Friday 6th, a face painting workshop will be organized where the little ones will become their favorite characters. From 6 to 8th, families will be able to participate in a gymkhana to discover the special corners of the resort.

As for the Christmas activities, throughout the December long weekend, Vallter will be present at the Fira de la Vila del Tió in Camprodon. The most Mediterranean FGC resort will have an illuminated Photocall on the village bridge and, through its Instagram profile, it will start a draw for a day ski pass and a double sleigh ticket among all the people who take a photo and share it through their social networks mentioning @vallter2000.

Nature enthusiasts will also be able to take on the challenge of the Morens Orienteering Circuit, to explore the fauna of Vallter with a self-guided orienteering circuit, designed for all ages.

The forecasts for the end of the long weekend and next week are optimistic, with a clear drop in temperatures and precipitation in the form of snow. With this forecast, Vallter has everything ready to open the ski area in the coming days. The information will be updated on the resort's social networks and website.
