The world of snow continues to be erroneously associated with a world of men. The mountains are a harsh environment to work in, the temperatures are very low in the winter and sometimes you have to endure severe storms. However, this does not mean that only men are capable of doing so. Of course women can too!
At the Vallter resort we find women who give everything to make our resort work: cleaning staff, administrative staff, medical service, among many others. Each of them tells us how the road to a place in their sector has been and how happy they are that there is an increasing percentage of women in the stations.
In this post we want to give visibility and claim the women of the resort who are key pieces and without whom we could not enjoy the Vallter. Here are some of them!
She worked in hotels in the region, until thanks to the Ripollès Development Agency she came to Vallter, and since that day she has been working with us for 4 years.
She always came to ski with friends or school, but she never imagined that she would end up working here, 8 years ago she didn't know what to study and a former teacher told her that Vallter needed people, that's when she found his opportunity.
Previously, she had been working in other places such as Bonpreu in Camprodon, Birba Cookies combining it with studies and travels when she could.
She found the offer for the 2020-2021 season for Infojobs. It was her first job as a doctor in Spain, before she was an emergency doctor in Venezuela. But he liked it so much that he wanted to repeat and work again during the 2021-2022 season.
