Dive into the sweet and natural world of mountain honey!
The Vallter station, inaugurated in 1975, is located in the middle of peaks that exceed 2,800m in altitude.
With the base located at 2,000m, it allows you to combine alpine skiing on the central slopes with the ascent with mountain skis through the area of the Xalet.
Vallter is located in the glacial circus of Morens-Ull de Ter. It extends to the north of the Ripollès region, within the municipality of Setcases, in the easternmost part of the Girona Pyrenees. It is a cozy and family resort, opened in the 1974-75 season as a center for skiing and mountain activities. The base of the station is located at an altitude of 2,200 meters above the valley of the river Ter, with a minimum elevation of 1,959 meters and a maximum elevation of 2,535 meters. Its privileged geographical location allows you to see from the highest elevation and on days of good visibility a unique and exceptional view of the Gulf of Roses.
The "Mirador-Balcó de la Costa Brava" is installed on the terrace of the Les Marmotes cafeteria, where you can see the indicated points of the panorama. The peaks that surround Vallter are among others, the peak of Bastiments (2,881 m), the Gra de Fajol (2,708 m) and the peak of La Dona (2,704 m).

This combination makes it an ideal place for outdoor sports and mountain activities: alpine skiing and snowboarding, downhill skiing, snowshoeing, freeride, snowfields and igloo construction, snowmaking workshops, downhill with sled and tubbys, and toy library-Snow garden for children
A family resort
Its location makes it the ideal destination for the whole family to enjoy the mountains at any time of the year. The skier who comes to look for challenges like the one who comes for a quiet day of snowshoeing or the families who come to play in the snow, everyone finds their place in Vallter. Also, the proximity to Girona and Barcelona (about two hours by car) and the wide variety of activities and services allow you to enjoy an excellent experience in Vallter. The best getaway!* Dogs are free and must be tied up and carry a muzzle (in case they do not have a muzzle, there is the possibility of buying them at the box office for 5 €).
